CMPC supplies quality fiber to more than 50 countries around the world. To be closer to our customers and better understand the unique characteristics of each region, we established International Offices in North America, Asia and Europe.
Has been operating for more than 20 years selling Pulp and Biopackaging products. As part of our strategic vision for the year 2030 to continue growing in North America, through collaboration with International Forest Products (IFP), CMPC is creating a new platform called CMPC Forest Products North America (CMPC FP). CMPC Forest Products North America is located in Atlanta, sharing facilities with CMPC USA, and began operations on January 1, 2024. The main focus will be the marketing, sale and distribution of CMPC products, such as pulp, paperboard and paper sacks. In addition, CMPC Forest Products will also be responsible for providing logistics services for wood products in the North American market, maintaining sales management by the CMPC USA team.
CMPC Asia was established in 2019 with the purpose of improving customer service, increasing market knowledge, and developing new business. This new way of operating has had good results, which have been reflected in both customer satisfaction and growth indicators in different countries within the region. Currently, this office provides support to various areas of the company. Among the activities carried out are logistical improvement, technical service, market intelligence, marketing, purchases of machinery and supplies, development of new products and the establishment of alliances in innovation.
Has operated since 2020 through a joint venture between CMPC and the GUSCO Handel G. Schürfeld + Co. GmbH group. It is a strategic partner in Germany for pulp, wood, and cardboard marketing. Its headquarters in Hamburg work directly with CMPC businesses in Brazil and Chile. During its first years of operation, Europe GmbH & Co.adjusted its procedures to provide a more dynamic service to its clients. This has helped it better respond to their requirements and consolidate its alliances.
